1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PlanTripAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PlanTripAI is an AI-powered travel planning platform that generates personalized travel itineraries based on user preferences. The Service includes:

• AI-generated travel itineraries and recommendations
• Destination discovery and search functionality
• Trip customization tools
• PDF export and sharing features
• Premium subscription services

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use.

You may not use another user's account without permission.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually), depending on the plan you select.

Free Tier: Includes up to 1 itinerary per month with access to the first day of the itinerary.

Paid Plans: Provide unlimited access to all features as described on our pricing page.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will honor their current pricing until renewal.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent periods
• Access to premium features will end when the subscription expires

Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.

One-time purchases (Trip Pass, Lifetime) are non-refundable after the itinerary has been generated, except where required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• To transmit harmful, offensive, or objectionable content
• To impersonate any person or entity
• To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• To scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Service without permission
• To resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PlanTripAI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, modify, and display that content in connection with the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The travel itineraries and recommendations provided by PlanTripAI are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy:

• Information may become outdated (opening hours, prices, availability)
• Recommendations are suggestions and not guarantees
• You should verify important details before traveling
• We are not responsible for changes made by third-party businesses

Always check current travel advisories, visa requirements, and local conditions before your trip.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanTripAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
• Travel disruptions or changes
• Third-party actions or services
• Unauthorized access to your account

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
